Galicia

we left portugal and drove up the spanish coast into galicia, the northwest province of spain. its the atlantic and the beaches are very new england-y and moody. the food and wine is a perfect match; every kind of seafood and crisp, minerally white varietals. deeee-lish. we had no plans and assumed that the never-lost would guide us to our final destination, Santiago de Campostela. WRONG. Always-lost was a disaster, so we kept the ocean on our left, made many wrong turns, but along the way found deserted beaches and coves, a rock that looks like an elephant and tiny seaside towns. it was quite the adventure in our yellow mini cooper.
