a couple pics from our trip to morocco. we spent 5 days there and explored the city of marrakech quite extensively as well as the surrounding mountains. the market in the middle of town (medina) is wild. its called the red city because every building is the same terracotta color. if you remember the indiana jones with the snake charmer, this is where it was filmed. its all been said before, but the smells, colors, and tastes are other worldly. we loved every minute and the food was amazing too. at night the main square in medina turns into the largest outdoor restaurant in the world. we added another contender for juicy sandwich night; boiled potatoes, hard boiled eggs, onions, parsley and olive oil in a pita. believe me the sum is far greater than its parts.
