so far El Bocaito on Libertad in Chueca wins for our fave tapas joint. pink bubbles are cheaper than water and they serve padrones by the pound. you can do the math. (that's Pepe in the back)

Who we are
- mitch and april
- We decided on our first date that we would live abroad together. Since then we got engaged, married and busier than ever. 5 years after that first date we are making our dream come true. We chose to move to Madrid because we wanted to be in a big city again, we wanted to speak spanish, and we wanted to be in a country that prioritized quality of life. We decided to keep a blog to keep a record of our adventures mostly for our personal files, but also for those of you who are bored and need to waste a few minutes. This adventure started on January 1, 2009. April is the writer and Mitch is the photographer.
