the french riviera

from costa brava we drove along the med into the french riviera. we stayed in monte carlo which is surreal (every other car was a ferrari, bentley or maserrati) but spent our time exploring cap d'antibes, eze and nice. these pictures are from a beautiful hike we did along the med and exploring the hilltop medieval town of eze. in nice we were given the direction from a friend to eat at a place called le petite meson and it was amazing. we felt as if we were in the middle of a crazy stage production. at one point the owner came over, picked up a chicken leg from mitch's plate and demanded that he finish his plate. there was a minstrel band called "the gypsy queens" that came in and a "sweet caroline" style sing along errupted not to mention keanu reeves in full beard was sitting at the next table over.
