We started 2009 on the edge of the Pacific ocean in Marshall, CA with bloody marys and oysters at Nick's Cove. Nick's Cove for the uninitiated is the quintessential oyster place right on Highway One. The sun was bright yellow and after last night's celebration I was happy to have big sunnies. On our way home we stopped in Petaluma and saw Slumdog Millionaire. We gave it an A-. The soundtrack was an A though.

New Year's Day 2009 in Marshall, CA
We started 2009 on the edge of the Pacific ocean in Marshall, CA with bloody marys and oysters at Nick's Cove. Nick's Cove for the uninitiated is the quintessential oyster place right on Highway One.
